Join the Boy Scouts of America and Paseo del Rio Association on Sat., August 5th from 7-11am for a race down the San Antonio River. The Ford River Race includes a Scouting/Youth Group competition encouraging outdoor adventure with special pricing along with a separate Public category open to corporations and individuals.

Individual Registrations Fees: Regular
Participants: Scout Youth (per person)   $15.00
Scout Adult Leader (per person)   $15.00
Public (per Person)   $50.00

Registration check-in at Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville located in the Shops at Rivercenter Lagoon

Awards ceremony, music and fun in the Shops at Rivercenter Lagoon

Event t-shirt presented at check-in

Races start and finish at the Chamber of Commerce building

New race category - one-person & two-person kayaks (BYOK, bring your own kayak, paddles and life jacket)

 

Scout Youth

  • Scout Youth teams: (ages 11-20): 7 AM check-in / 7:15 AM 1st heat ($15 per person)
  • Scout Leader teams (2 adults) 7 AM check-in / 8:15 AM 1st heat ($15 per person)
  • Scout Award Ceremony at 9 AM

Public (Ages 17+) 8:45 AM check-in / 9:15 AM 1st heat

  • Public Kayak: $50 per person, one-person kayaks only
  • Public Canoe: $50 per person, two-person teams
  • Public Award Ceremony at 10:30 AM
