Conservation and the Boy Scouts of America have been partners for a long time. Camping, hiking, and respect for the outdoors are a part of the Scouting heritage.
In the second inaugural Hornaday Award Weekend offered by the Alamo Area Council, Scouts can earn conservation merit badges and are given resources toward earning the prestigious William T. Hornaday Award.
