American Indian Heritage Fall Cub 'N One

OCT - Cub Scouts Explore Our American Indian Heritage

Alamo Area Council Cub Scouts will explore American Indian Heritage and its relation to the values of Cub Scouting. The Fall 2016 Cub-N-One will include Scouting activities which tie Native American culture to the values of the Cub Scout Program.

Each Scout and their adult partner are invited to attend this overnight camping event at the McGimsey Scout Park. Scouting activities including hiking, fishing, crafts, games, archery and BB ranges will be used to illustrate spiritual growth, good citizenship, respect and courage.

The Saturday evening program will include a campfire with skits, songs and stories and a Cracker Barrel (snack time).

Each Scout will bring their own tent. Meals will be provided.

This event does not include siblings.

The schedule for the Cub-N-One is:

Saturday, October 8

7:15 - 8:30 a.m. - Check-in and campsite set up

8:35 a.m. - Flag/Opening Ceremony

9:00 a.m. - Activities begin

5:30 p.m. - Dinner and Evening Programs begin

Sunday, October 9

7:00 a.m. Breakfast

8:00 a.m. Scout's Own Worship Service (Interdenominational)

Break camp and clean your campsite
