College of Commissioner Science
Adult Leader Training

The College of Commissioner Science training course is now open to all Scouters throughout the Council.  It is a GREAT training opportunity for all scout leaders.

We invite all adult leaders involved with scouting at any level, to join us for this exciting one-day event and to enhance your scouting knowledge for a better youth scouting movement!

The curriculum spans Commissioner, Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Charter Organization Representatives, and Commissioners training.

The Commissioner’s curriculum spans three to four years with Bachelors degree, Masters degree, Doctors degree and Round Table courses. Bachelors and Master degrees requires seven hours of training each. Doctors Degree requires a written thesis. The course is design to train Commissioners in unit service but can be used by all Scouters to improve their unit skills.

Participants can pick a track or create their own.  All Scout leaders, commissioners, and parents are invited to participate.

This is supplemental leader training at its best, designed to provide program ideas, resources and FUN for all Scouting volunteers. Leaders may return year after year, earn degrees in their chosen fields and keep current on all that Scouting has to offer the youth in our communities.

The commissioner is the liaison between the local council and Scouting units. The commissioner's job is to keep units operating at maximum efficiency, maintain regular contact with unit leaders, counsel leaders on where to find assistance,

Fee Includes:
• Patch
• Diploma
• Lunch

Volunteers: If you would like to teach, assist, or volunteer please contact:
