NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION: Go to Wood Badge - Spring 2019

Here’s a simple, fun way to better yourself & your unit in 2019 – Register and go to Wood Badge!

Wood Badge is an exciting, action-packed program designed to provide all adult members of the Boy Scouts of America with leadership skills and experience they can use in their home units, districts, or councils and in other situations demanding leadership of self and others.

Wood Badge is “the ultimate leadership training program for the adult leaders of the Boy Scouts of America. Established in 1919 by Robert Baden-Powell, Scouting’s founder, Wood Badge has been the training ground for hundreds of thousands of Scouters around the world. As the challenges in the world have changed, Wood Badge has also evolved to give leaders the skills they need to strengthen Scouting in meaningful ways.” – excerpted from the Wood Badge Syllabus

This awesome Course spans two, three-day weekends:

Weekend #1 is Mar. 22-24, 2019 (@ Bear Creek Scout Reservation)

Weekend #2 is Apr. 12-14, 2019 (@ Bear Creek Scout Reservation)

This is the first time that Wood Badge is being conducted at Bear Creek Scout Reservation AND this is the 100th Anniversary of Wood Badge – two more reasons that this Course will be especially exciting and memorable!

Set your sights on the Course in which “Participants take part in numerous presentations, discussions, and activities that explore and advance a wide range of leadership philosophies and tools. A key area of exploration is the process of team development. By recognizing the stages through which developing teams must pass, participants will learn to apply appropriate leadership strategies that enable teams to reach their highest levels of performance.” – excerpted from the Wood Badge Syllabus

Register NOW by clicking on the orange REGISTRATION button on this page and improve yourself and your unit in 2019!
