Spring 2019 Wood Badge Weekend II

Join us for FUN and CRITTERS: Wood Badge Spring 2019!

By all accounts, Wood Badge is the most FUN you can have while doing BSA training – you’ll have such a GOOD TIME, you might not even realize that you’re simultaneously becoming a more informed, skillful, motivated, and networked Scout Leader!

Wood Badge is an exciting, action-packed program designed to provide all adult members of the Boy Scouts of America with leadership skills and experience they can use in their home units, districts, or councils and in other situations demanding leadership of self and others.

And during this, the 100th Anniversary of Wood Badge (1919-2019), you will be linked to the leadership essentials that Scouting’s Founder, Lord Robert Baden Powell, thought were the most important to creating the Scout Leaders that our Youth deserve and need! You’ll also be assigned to one of the eight traditional Wood Badge ‘critter’ Patrols and become part of Troop 1 – the worldwide brotherhood of Wood Badge graduates – and through them connected to all the traditions and history of the BSA’s premier leadership training course!

Plus, all the fun, campfires, games, skits, songs, team-building, new friends, new ideas, and finding your renewed Scout spirit, will make you even more capable of providing the ‘game with a purpose’ to our Youth and Units!

Wood Badge Course S3-583-19-1 (Spring 2019) spans two, 3-day weekends at Bear Creek Scout Reservation (BCSR):

  • Weekend #1 is March 22-24, 2019
  • Weekend #2 is April 12-14, 2019
