OCT - WEBELOS Meet and Learn from Boy Scouts at the Web-O-Ree

The Alamo Area Council is hosting the 2016 Web-O-Ree at Mays Family Scout Ranch and McGimsey Scout Park this October. The locations are designated for specific districts so that WEBELOS are able to meet Boy Scout Troops from their district. See below for district camp location assignments.

The 2016 Web-O-Ree  will provide WEBELOS the opportunity to interact with Boy Scouts while gaining valuable ScoutingSkills and experience.

Boy Scout Troops from the Alamo Area Council will provide hands-on demonstrations for WEBELOS. Demonstrations will including camp setup, cooking, Scouting skills, working as a Patrol (a small group of Boy Scouts, similar to a Cub Scout Den), companionship and FUN.

WEBELOS and their parents will also have the opportunity to speak with Boy Scout leaders to learn more about the next step on the Scouting trail.

WEBELOS (and their parent) will camp in their own tents and provide and cook their own food, just like Boy Scouts.

This event will be held at the McGimsey Scout Park and Mays Family Scout Ranch Friday, October 28, 2016 at 6:30pm through Sunday, October 30, 2016 at 10:30am.

Mays Family Scout Ranch: Cimarron District, Memorial District, Longhorn District, and Texas Hills District

McGimsey Scout Park: Armadillo District, Victory District, Summit District, Rough Rider District, Diamondback District, and Two Rivers District.
