Alamo Area Law Enforcement Competition 2019
ALAMO AREA LAW ENFORCEMENT EXPLORING COMPETITION
The Boy Scouts of America, Alamo Area Council invite all Exploring Post to participate in the Alamo Area Council, Law Enforcement Exploring Competition on Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Check in: 7:00 a.m. Location Harlandale High School. REGISTRATION: Registration is limited to 25 teams and must be completed by October 1st. A post is not considered registered until all fees, consent, renewal/unit charter, and health forms (parts A & B only) have been completed and received.
- Each post can enter two teams, with a maximum of four explorers per team.
- Each explorer can ONLY compete with one team.
- Each team will be participating in four events, with every team required to compete in the Academic Challenge scenario.
- Lunch will be provided (tickets required). Outside food, beverages, and snacks will be available. Alcoholic beverages and tobacco products are never permitted.
- The registered BSA Explorer advisor will be allowed to observe their teams assigned scenarios.
- Videotaping will only be allowed by the advisor for training purposes only, please respect the integrity of the competition, if anyone is caught disseminating the video at the competition to anyone they will be subject to possible sanctions including the possibility of disqualification.

Military Hwy San Antonio, Texas 78213 FEES: The registration fee is $200 per team (which covers 4-youth, 1 alternate youth, and 1 adult leader maximum) those who register by 3:30 pm, Friday, August 17th will get the early bird price of $175, which will included entrance into the competition, t-shirt, and lunch for each registered team member. Each team must be accompanied by an Exploring Post Adult Leader. Fees will not be pro-rated and must be made payable to the Alamo Area Council, Boy Scouts of America. Receipts will be available upon request.
