Search and Rescue Open House

 Come Find Out What Search and Rescue is All About

Saturday April 8th there will be an open house for the Alamo Area Councils newest Exploring Post, Post 1398 at McGimsey Scout Park, 10810 Wedgewood Dr, San Antonio, TX 78230, on Saturday April 8th, 2017 from 9am- 2pm. Post 1398 will be a Search and Rescue focused Exploring Post.

 

Search and Rescue Exploring is a part of the Fire &EMS Exploring. Exploring is open to young men and women ages 14-21. Come learn from Alamo Area Search and Rescue (AASAR) about canine teams, certified ground personnel, trained search managers, logistics support, communications, and incident management.

 

Some of the things that you or your Explorer could gain from joining the Post is improved self-confidence, leadership experience, hands-on career experiences preparing you for your career, as well as scholarship opportunities.
