Dove Hunts being offered at Mays Family Scout Ranch

Mays Family Scout Ranch Dove Hunts

Mays Family Scout Ranch is open for dove hunting in the central zone!  Mark your calendars for the whole month of September!

Texas dove season brings some fast-paced action and late night camp fire stories to long be remembered.  With a more private setting and fewer dove hunters afield than many over-crowded dove hunting ranches the Mays Family Scout Ranch fits the bill.  It is approximately 140 beautiful acres of land developed alongside the Medina River just minutes South of Downtown San Antonio.

Two hunting options available:  Click here to sign up for your own hunt at Mays Family Scout Ranch!

All hunters must have valid hunting license, your own gun and ammo.

  • Monday through Thursday hunts 3:30 PM to dark - $100 per gun.  10 spots available per day.  Birds cannot be cleaned on property. Leave no trace - pack it in, pack it out.

  • Friday - Saturday experience hunts for 10 shooters and 10 guests - $2,700

Upon arrival, your party will be treated to hors d'oeuvres and beverages before heading out into the fields for the evening hunt.  After the hunt, you will have your birds cleaned while you visit at the evening bar and get ready for some home cooked meals.  That evening you will retire to on site accommodations and wake up to a pastry breakfast and coffee.  You will then be off to the morning hunt and after that hunt, you will be able to relax at the Bloody Mary Bar while your birds are cleaned.

This all-inclusive package is perfect for corporate group retreats, client entertainment, team building or just hanging out with friends and family.

Your experience is not only with the dove hunting, but enjoy the accommodations resting peacefully in 14 individual, safari style tents where you will be close with nature.  Each tent has multiple “double decker” type cots.  There is also a pavilion and a fire pit in the center of the camp where stories of the days hunts can be told. Air conditioned group facility for sleeping is available upon request.
