Eagle Scholarship Deadlines Draw Near! Not too late yet!

The National Eagle Scout Association (NESA) offers annual scholarships to members of its organization—to join is simple and inexpensive! (As long as you are an Eagle scout) All Eagle scouts have to do is click on this link: Link
This link will allow you to register for membership—it is only $35 for 5 years or if you do it within 6 months of becoming an Eagle (BOR) it is only $25 for 10 years! What a great deal!

After you are a member you can apply for scholarships (right away, you don’t have to wait for your credentials)—not only for college but also for VO-Tech training! NESA recognizes that tradesmen build America and not all Eagles want to go to college!  These aren’t $100 or $500 scholarships either—they are significant amounts. NESA will award $690,000 in scholarship this year to over 250 deserving Eagle Scouts.  There are three categories that Eagles compete in: Academic; Merit Based; and Field of Study.  One of those categories could be your ticket to college! If you noticed only one of the tree was based solely on academic merit! So, even if you aren’t number 1 in your class you still have a chance to garner some money for your college education.
Apply online—but work on it right away.  The scholarship window is only open from August 1-October 31stand closes at Midnight Central Time.  All recipients are notified no later than July 15ththe following year. If you don’t get a scholarship at first—you can reapply every year you are in school! It is not just a single opportunity. What are you waiting for? Click the link below and get started! Link
