It's time to nominate your Adult Leader for the Rough Rider Award 2016

by Rough Rider for Alamo Area BSA: November 2016

WHAT:  The Rough Rider Award is promoted to recognize Adult Leaders in the Rough Rider District, Alamo Area Council, who have performed noteworthy service within their units during the last year.  Nominations are accepted by the District Advancement Committee throughout the year and awards are presented at the annual District Banquet.

WHO: Currently registered Adult Leaders may be nominated by any other registered Adult Leader within their unit.  An Adult Leader is eligible to receive the Rough Rider Award one time.

WHY: The recognition of noteworthy service is needed at every level of service to youth within the Boy Scouts of America.  The Rough Rider District recognizes that the efforts of Adult Leaders, working within their units and not necessarily participating in District leadership initiatives, are among the most important efforts of the Scouting program and should be recognized by the District community in order to promote its continuation and growth.

WHEN: All nominations should be submitted not later than the December Round Table, 2016.

HOW: Any registered Adult Leaders may nominate any other Adult Leader currently registered in the same unit by completing the nomination form below and turning it in to the Rough Rider District Advancement Committee.
