Amber Sizer

Amber Sizer is a Development Director for the Alamo Area Council, BSA. She coordinates the $2 million popcorn and camp card sales, Scout Strong Patriot Run, SALSA committee, and writes grants. Amber joined the Council in July 2011 as the Texas Hills District Executive. Her responsibilities included support and oversight of membership, volunteer recruitment, training, fundraising, and promoting council and district events.

Amber is from San Antonio and a graduate of Alamo Heights High School. Amber received her bachelor of arts in communication with a concentration in public relations from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She is a certified nonprofit professional (CNP) by the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance, which is an organization partnered with more than 50 academic institutions nationwide and 13 well-known nonprofit agencies, including the Boy Scouts of America, to prepare “next generation nonprofit leaders.” Before joining the Scouting profession, Amber and her nephew, Dylan, joined Cub Scouting in 2008 when Dylan was in 1st grade. Previously she held positions with SAMMinistries, Rackspace, and Junior Achievement.
