The Coyote District of the Boy Scouts of America, Alamo Area Council (BSA) works with 1,078 volunteer adults to serve over 2,600 youth in NEISD, Alamo Heights, and Fort Sam Houston school districts within Bexar County.
Roundtables are monthly informational training meetings, held for all Scouters who wish to attend on the first Thursday of every month at 7 pm. Currently, meetings are held via Zoom. Check your email for this month's link and password.

The purpose of district meetings is to build momentum, provide group continuity, ensure good coordination, and make specific assignments to committee members. The district commissioner reports on the special needs of units and requests the help of operating committees to meet those needs.

Coyote District Awards
The Silver Beaver Award is the council-level distinguished service award of the Boy Scouts of America. Recipients of this award are registered adult leaders who have made an impact on the lives of youth through service given to the council, to those who implement the Scouting program and perform community service through hard work, self-sacrifice, dedication, and many years of service. It is given to those who do not seek it.
