Unit Elections for Scouts BSA Troops, Venture Crews and Sea Scout Ships are now available year-round so that you may schedule your annual election at a time that is convenient for your unit. You may hold a unit election once per year.
Why elect youth and young adults to the Order of the Arrow? The OA provides additional leadership training and opportunities for service. Members of the OA have access to advanced leadership training seminars with up and coming leaders from around the US. In addition, they have access to the national high-adventure camps at a significant discount. It is also a way to help retain your older Scouts by providing them with an opportunity to participate in events with other Scouts their age and just be themselves without the added responsibility they may have in the unit.
For details on qualifications (youth and adult), procedures, and more detailed information,
please download the Unit Elections Letter 2018/2019 Unit Election Letter.
