Howdy, Alamo Area Council!
If you were not already aware, Alamo Area Council has both low and high C.O.P.E. facilities at a both McGimsey Scout Park and Bear Creek Scout Reservation.
Project C.O.P.E. stands for “Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience”. It comprises group initiative games, low, and high-course activities. Some of the activities involve a group challenge, while others test individual skills and agility; only a few require athletic strength. Participants climb, swing, balance, jump, rappel, and think of solutions to a variety of activities. Each event is designed to encourage participants to do their best using.
But C.O.P.E events require facilitators, and you can become one of those facilitators! Join us on March 13th and 14th for Facilitator training at McGimsey Scout Park.
