It’s getting to be that time of year again! If you’re anything like me, you love the Halloween season. My house has been decked out since the first weekend of August. With Halloween at the forefront of the brain, I’ve come to realize Halloween is about 2 months away, and I must admit it came quicker than I realized – even through the anticipation.
The Haunted Forest is lurking around the corner, and is going to make itself known quite soon. Will there be skeletons, ghosts, or vampires? Come find out October 23, between the hours of 6pm and 9pm, which is quickly approaching. We are starting the busy time of year where everything seems go at an increase tempo.
We will have many spooky scenes along the camp loop of McGimsey that you will drive through and experience. Each scene will be adjusted based on your children’s age! If want to have a fun experience for little ghouls and goblins turn on your flashers, and our Scout volunteers will adjust to you. However, if you’re prepared to see all the creepy and creative scenes of Halloween, leave your flashers off and BEWARE!
This will be our second Haunted Forest Drive Thru. You will be entering through the cub country gate on Wedgewood, and we will have guides along the route, guiding you to the campsite loop for all your spooky scenes, and then exit through the NW Military gate. It is $20 per vehicle; Scouters and non-scouters alike! So, invite all your Halloween loving friends and family for an evening of spooktacular fun!
