Well hey there,
Christopher here, your Scout Service Coordinator, here to tell you that WE ARE STILL HERE! Coming at you on Facebook, on YouTube, on Twitter, on LinkedIn, and on Instagram! We are taking Scouting to a whole other level! What’s it called? Scouting At Home! Your one stop shop ( well, with links to other social medias) to live programming, Merit Badge learning courses, and the latest news! If you haven’t had the chance to visit, click the link above or below to take you there!
Are wanting is to work together, not just as a program, but as a family. Over the years, the packs of Project Aguila have come together to share great stories and encouragements to one another. Our group leaders have come together to make sure that Scouting doesn’t “take a break” but continues to thrive in this situation. This is a game changer, and we are at the front lines!
The Alamo Area Council will adjust their Outdoor Adventure schedule as the schools come back in session, but I don’t know about you, but once this season is done, I am going outside and may stay outside for a while! Make sure to look at the Council Calendar. We have Alamo Area Council Day Camps and Bear Creek Summer Camps up and ready for you to sign up and go! A great way to start the summer!
Lastly, our office doors may be closed to the public, but the Alamo Area Council staff is still here to serve you! We aim to continue bringing quality programming, excellent service, and as always making sure that Scouting continues for your family. Make sure to visit our Scouting At Home site which gives access to our Facebook Live videos. These are excited times for Scouting!
