Providing Youth a Summer Full of Adventure

From crafting and skit performances to learning about the world, our summer camp stands out when it comes to preparing kids for life and older Scouting programs.
- Children in First grade through fifth can participate in Day Camp.
- Tigers (children in 1st grade) may attend Day Camp, or Tiger Day Camp, but are required to have an adult partner with them at camp.
- Lions (children in Kindergarten) may attend the Evening with the Lions Event – designed to be a special welcome event for our newly recruited Lions. Parent must be present with the Lion to attend.
- Our Day Camps vary in length, time, and location.

Evening With the Lions
(Designed especially for Scouts entering Kindergarten in the fall of 2021)
This event is for Newly recruited Lion Scouts and their parents. Lions are any scout entering Kindergarten in Fall of 2021. Bring your swim suits and come out to join us for an amazing evening with our new Lion Scouts.

Tiger Day Camp
(Designed especially for Scouts entering First Grade in the fall of 2021)
Nothing says adventure like two days of outdoor Cub Scout fun. Swimming, hiking, visits to the BB and Archery ranges, games and crafts will make you roar with laughter! Bring your parent partner and discover more about being a Cub Scout. Questions always encouraged.

Day Camp at Canyon Lake
With 116-acres to play and discover, Comal Park is a beautiful place to attend camp. Get ready for fun because this exciting, in person, Day Camp is open to all Cub Scouts entering grades 1-5 and an epic outdoor adventure. Your Scout’s day will be filled fun and enriching experiences: BBs, Archery, Swimming, Crafts, Games, a service project, and lots of fun! Day Camp in Pleasanton
The River Park, also known as the Veterans Memorial Park, provides large open spaces for the best Scouting Adventures! Each day of camp includes playing games, crafts, and learning a Scouting skill. Scouts will earn their rank specific Shooting Sports patch in archery and BB gun.

Day Camp at McGimsey (Week 2)
Way Way Back
In the 14th century, people didn’t have luxuries of convenience, like electricity or indoor plumbing. They relied on the world around them to survive. Explore the ways of old and the technology of a time long forgotten amidst time-tested Scouting skills still used today.

Day Camp in Boerne
Founded in 1986, the Agricultural Museum & Arts Center offers visitors an enjoyable learning experience about farming history and also makes a fantastic place for Scouting adventures! Each day of camp will include swimming, playing old fashioned games, crafts, and learning Scouting skills like rope-making and camp cooking. Scouts will earn their rank specific Shooting Sports patch in archery and BB gun.

Day Camp McGimsey (Week 3)
Transportation Adventures
From horseback to jetpack, people are obsessed with movement. This adventure captivates the mind and inspires genius. Can’t stop moving? Good! Witness the evolution of transportation from the discovery of the wheel to current modes of transport.

Day Camp in Kerrville
Everybody loves spending the day at the Kroc Center, and we couldn’t think of a better place to have fun! Each day of camp includes swimming, playing games, crafts, and learning a Scouting skill. Scouts will earn their rank specific Shooting Sports patch for archery and sling shot.

Twilight Camp at McGimsey (Week 4)
Living on Mars
Imagine living on Mars. What would you need? What would you take with you? How would you survive? Prepare yourself for a futuristic excursion and discover your inner adventurer during twilight camp.
