Friday, April 5th- Tuesday, April 9th
Bear Creek offers two types of camping experiences:
- On the Fredrich side of the property, units will be able to utilize our maintained facilities including restrooms, showers, and covered pavilions. Units will have platforms for their tents to keep them up off the gourd to ensure a smooth camping experience.
- On the Rickenbacker side of the property, units will be able to experience BCSC’s version of dry camping. This side is for units that are only male.
Friedrich Side: Rickenbacker Side (Male Troops, Crews and Ships only)
Scout/Sibling under 11 years old $10/person + $200/platform** $10/person
Scout/Sibling 11 years old or older $20/person + $200/platform** $20/person
Adult $20/person + $200/platform** $20/person
**Platforms = tent space. Units must abide by all Youth Protection Policies when camping within tents
**If you are a buddy to someone who is paying for the tent– you will not be charged for the platform

- Safety of Scouting: This amazing opportunity is only open to registered Scouts and Scouters of the BSA which means you are among a community of trained leadership, and Scouts who follow the Scout Law and Oath.
- Additional included: You unit can enjoy our basketball court, Gaga Ball Pit, and the vast open land for any other activities your unit wishes to do while camping.
Recommendations:
Due to the location and the high number of people expected in the area, it is unlikely that you will be able to communicate effectively with the public– please be prepared to be off the grid for the length of your stay.

Roads are also expected to be crowded to the point of sitting in traffic for many hours. This is why we have scheduled a 4-5 night reservation.
