NEW for 2020 – Updated Prize Levels
Scout – Designed Prize Program
Scouts can design their own prize program by selecting what they want on Amazon.com. Unit Kernels are no longer required to meet with Scouts to get their price choices, place the order (shop), or shuffle through the delivery.
Within the Amazon website adults can filter views by category, gender, age group and product rating. Scouts can find items they like and create a wish list that Amazon can save. Using the Trail’s End prize level sheet, Scouts will know what they are working towards and when they will hit their goal. Don’t worry if a Scout changes interest between August and November, they can shop again when they are ready to redeem their Amazon eGift Card. Prizes are shipped directly to the Scout’s home. Plus, families with Amazon Prime can get free 2-day shipping and many items ship free for all customers.
Units cannot opt out of the Trail’s End eGift Card program.
Amazon eGift Cards are managed and digitally redeemed by the Scout through Trail’s End using the Trail’s End App.
Note: Your Unit account must be paid in full before your Unit’s eGift Cards will be approved by Council.
2018 Proven test results: Over 5,000 Scouts sold in an incentive plan using digitally redeemed gift cards with sale growth from 3.3% to over 11.6%.
SCOUT PRIZE LEVELS – Check-out the new levels!
ALL SCOUTS with at least 400 points will earn an Amazon.com eGift Card.
Trail’s End Rewards Improvements
Based on research with Scouts and their parents, TE Rewards is switching to a preferred points-based system. To incentivize Scouts to sell online and to encourage them to ask for payment by credit/debit card rather than cash, Scouts will earn:
- 2 points for each $1.00 of Online Direct sales;
- 1.5 points for each $1.00 of credit/debit card sales;
- 1 point for each $1.00 of cash sales.
These point changes will launch on July 1, 2020. You can view the new 2020 TE Rewards flyer.
