Nominate an adult leader for the Silver Beaver Award

The Silver Beaver Award is the highest council level distinguished service award of the Boy Scouts of America. Recipients of this award are registered adult leaders who have made an impact on the lives of youth through service given to the council.

NOV - Merit Badge University Fall 2016

Boy Scout Merit Badge University on November 5, 2016 at St. Phillips College. A one day event hosted by the Boy Scouts of America, Alamo Area Council, for Boy Scouts in the 6th-12th Grade or ages 11-17 to earn up to four merit badges to help with their path to earn their Eagle Scout rank and serve our community.

OCT-DEC: 2016 Mays Merit Badge Programs

In 2016 the Mays Family Scout Ranch (MFSR) will be offering 8 Merit Badges. The MFSR will complete certain requirements for all merit badges, but not all elective requirements that show within the booklets. Please review details on the calendar of which requirements will be held prior to the event.
