OCT - Jamboree-on-the-Air 2016

JOTA is an annual event in which Scouts of all ages utilize Amateur Radio to communicate with other Scouts throughout the United States and other countries. Jamboree-on-the-Air, or JOTA, is the largest Scouting event in the world. It is held annually the third full weekend in October.

NOV - Spook-O-Ree 2016 - Cub Scouts Visit Sleepy Hollow

The Spook-O-Ree is a family Halloween event for everyone! Take your pick of evenings, November 4-5 2016, or November 5-6 2016, and join the many families that will venture out to McGimsey Scout Park for Halloween fun in a safe, family friendly environment.

Venturing Crews and invited guests will compete in fun games of skill, adventure, and team building for the Venturing Challenge Cup at the McGimsey Scout from 9am - 2 pm on Saturday, October 15, 2016. Invited participating guests are FREE and should be Venturing program age eligible.

NOV - Merit Badge University Fall 2016

Boy Scout Merit Badge University on November 5, 2016 at St. Phillips College. A one day event hosted by the Boy Scouts of America, Alamo Area Council, for Boy Scouts in the 6th-12th Grade or ages 11-17 to earn up to four merit badges to help with their path to earn their Eagle Scout rank and serve our community.

OCT - Fall 2016 Cub'N One focuses on American Indian Heritage

Join the adventure with UTSA Football Roadrunners as they take on Southern Miss, October 8, 2016 at the Alamodome.
