Cram Roofing Golf Classic and Ball Drop Provides Funding for Scouting Programs

Locally based Cram Roofing Company, Inc., continues their partnership with the Boy Scouts of America, Alamo Area Council in San Antonio, to raise money for its Scouting programs. The money is to be raised during the nonprofit’s annual Charity Golf Classic. Cram Roofing will serve as lead sponsor for 2014 by offering financial support and resources to the event.

Boy Scout Night at the Dome - 2014 UTSA Football

Boy Scout Month at Bass Pro Shop 2014 Recently Added Content

We are proud to announce that September is Boy Scout Month at Bass Pro Shops. This promotion will run in all of the Bass Pro Shop stores for the entire month of September 2014. The San Antonio Bass Pro will offer workshops, free crafts, merit badge classes, and opportunity to support our local Scouting community through a donations program.

Even if you only have one youth interested, encourage him/her to register and attend this McGimsey Climbing Tower event and try his/her hand at this challenging sport! Merit Badge University Fall 2014 Recently Added Content

Boy Scout Merit Badge University on November 1, 2014 at St. Phillips College. A one day event hosted by the Boy Scouts of America, Alamo Area Council, for Boy Scouts in the 6th-12th Grade or ages 11-17 to earn up to four merit badges to help with their path to earn their Eagle Scout rank and serve our community.

Alamo Area Council invites Scouts to attend Philmont 2015 Recently Added Content

Philmont is the original Boy Scouts of America National High Adventure base. It is located in northeastern New Mexico near the town of Cimmaron. The Base covers about 215 square miles of rugged mountain wilderness and provides a setting for backpacking, horseback riding and a host of other high adventure activities.

Cub Scout Shooting Sports Day 2014

Cub Scouts will have the opportunity to earn the belt loop for archery and BB gun and work on/or complete their pin. The belt loop can be earned on Saturday and the pin on Sunday. You must attend both Saturday and Sunday to earn the pin.
